There is so much to discover here at Furnace Mill Fishery.
We are famous for our fishing lakes, however, we also have a fantastic covered plinking range
plus 2 separate field target shooting area's. 

The plinking range is under cover and is fitted with seats and benches.

All of this in the middle of a true wilderness wonderland on the edge of the Wyre Forest.
Bring a picnic or enjoy our restaurant facilities and toilets.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL

The location of Furnace Mill means that each and every season here comes with its own distinct benefits. For many visitors, that offers the opportunity to make several visits a year, and enjoy distinctly different experiences. 

Regardless of the season you visit in, make sure you prepare yourself accordingly. If you’re coming in the summer, make sure you pack your relaxing picnic chairs and sun hat's. And if you’re here in the early spring or winter, bring plenty of warm clothes as the evenings can be chilly.

CLIMATE

TEMPERATURES
Daily winter temperatures can range from 15°C to -2°C. In the summer, they range from the mid-teens to 20°C. Depending on your location, you may be well protected by trees. 
SNOWFALL
Very rare to have any snowfall but best to check the forecast in winter before leaving home. We are open 7 days a week 360 days a year and we look forward to welcoming you to Furnace Mills.
RAINFALL
Prepare yourself for rain if you are coming in the winter or spring time, as it generally rains every few days, and usually for several hours at a time. The winds can be strong, too, so come prepared.
